5-12-2008 Blarg: If only it was actually this easy to lure cats to their carriers.
We saw Iron Man over the weekend. I liked it a lot, but I did think the subtext was quite interesting. My hypothesis revolves (like many of my hypotheses) around facial hair.
Exhibit A) The evil head terrorist guy had no facial and was bald.
Exhibit B) The CEO evil guy was bald, but had a large beard. (also has jazz hands)
Exhibit C) Tony Stark aka Iron Man (the good guy) had hair and a goatee.
So the moral of the story is you want to have hair, but you need some type of balance, and you should keep hair on the top and the bottom of your head. At least that's what I took away from the narrative.

Here are some other things we did over the weekend.
We made S'mores over our propane grill. Just like camping.
And we watched some of the NBA playoffs. We had to tape something to the bottom of the screen because the ticker occasionally displays the score of the other basketball game our Tivo is recording. It can ruin the experience and makes our Tivo feel useless. In this instance we used the Meijer Ad. Toilet paper's on sale!
