6-16-2008 Blarg: We saw The Happening yesterday. I thought the premise was a little hokey, but M. Night knows how to tell a story that keeps you entertained. Zooey Deschanel, who stars in the movie, is very good in it, but there's something about her acting that has always bothered me. Has anyone else noticed she often has a blank stare on her face?
See what I mean? I did three minutes of Google research and found 5 stills from her movies where she has a blank look. Don't get me wrong; I think Zooey Deschanel's a great actress, and I like most of the movies she's in. I just think it's kind of weird.
