9-1-2008 Blarg: This one got a little weird. Though I do like Scout's future beard.
Happy Labor day to everyone. Normally today is garbage day but because it is a holiday, it is postponed till tomorrow. Now how does that work for the Waste Management workers? They get Monday off so is Tuesday's garbage day now Wednesday, Wednesday's now Thursday's and etc; or do they work double on Tuesday and the rest of the days are normal? I can't imagine there's a subdivision that just skips a week because their garbage day is normally a Tuesday. Are these workers really getting a day off because the garbage doesn't take a day off accumulating itself? If anything with the three day weekend and extra cook outs taking place, there is more garbage than usual. These are problems are simple cartoonist cannot solve.
So instead I drew this:
The toy on the left is a bobble head dog I keep on my desk and the one on the right is the Idog, a mechanical toy dog that lights up and sways its head to music. It has a built in microphone and is also a speaker. They're at odds with each other for obvious reasons.
