10-20-2008 Blarg: That's right. I am learning to golf. So far I'm not very good, but I blame my lack of a good cat caddy that can fit in my golf bag. Think how convenient it would be.
I was hanging out with some people who were doing a 24 hour comic, and my friend Mike coined a great phrase. "Sometimes you have to put a dollar sign on the money bag." Use this anytime you have to point out the obvious to someone.
A 24 hour comic is where you make a 24 page comic within a continuous 24 hour time limit. I am little surprised by its popularity, but it's fun to do with other people. It's kind of like a nerdy sleepover for comic book folk. I did not do one this year because I really can't sacrifice an entire 24 hour day as well as deal with the sleep deprived aftermath. That is why I am inventing the 2.4 hour comic for the less hardcore like myself. Here is the challenge: Create a 24 panel comic in 2.4 hours. It's a mini version for comic people on the go-go-go. Hopefully I'll do a 2.4 hour comic before the end of the year, but you never know. I'm always on the go-go-go.
