11-24-2008 Blarg: That bird is a bad influence on Scout. Scout told me how she went on an outer space adventure, and I tried to explain that her little cat head would explode in the vacuum of space. She got her little ruler and protractor out and said, "Ok. Explain that to me again." In her defense she might have been high at the time. After some research Scout directed me to some websites here and here. She also wanted to see my bibliography page.
I have another installment for the "People be Drawin' Some Ed Cho" archives. This one is from Adam Kellams. Check out his website here. It's fun hanging out with caricature artists because they have no fear. Last night Adam drew a stranger two seats away at the Slippery Noodle, and he tipped him 20 bucks for the caricature. He also sketched a picture of our waitress (some flattering, some not flattering) and we got extra bacon on our cheese fries. Extra bacon and 20 bucks are not things to be taken lightly.
